As part of its programme of contacting local organisations, the Gibraltar Private Sector Workers & Pensioners Association recently met with the Leader of the Opposition, Fabian Picardo. This was to discuss the aims and objectives of the new group. The meeting was an opportunity, says the GPS-WPA, to present its ‘shopping’list in greater detail and to answer any questions Mr. Picardo may have. The meeting was both amicable and productive and the Opposition Leader promised to discuss thoroughly these issues with his Party Executive.
The meeting was one of the first of many that the Association intends to hold with all local political parties, business and workers' organisations, unions and other groups and associations here on the Rock.
