Committee Members of the Gibraltar Private Sector Workers' and Pensioners' Association (GPS-WPA) last Friday met with the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues of concern to the Association, following on from previous consultations before the election. The delegation included Leslie Bruzon, John Martinez, Lyana Armstrong-Emery, Andy Ellul and Ray Murphy.
In response, Mr.Picardo and Dr.Garcia reiterated their manifesto committments regarding pensioners and pledged to implement them over the timescale of this parliament. The two sides expressed satisfaction at the progress made during the talks and agreed to meet again later in the year.
