The Gibraltar Private Sector Workers and Pensioners Association (GPS-WPA) today welcomed the recent comments of the opposition parties on the Rock. The Association has held a series of meetings over the last couple of months with the GSLP, the Liberal Party and the PDP and looks forward to meeting the GSD when this can be arranged.
As regards the three political opposition groups however, the GPS-WPA endorses many of the stated views and intentions of these parties. The issues include a scheme for additional financial support for pensioners to ensure that their standard of living kept up with economic growth and the maintaining and development of Community Care.
The pressure group emphasises its wish to be on good terms with all Gibraltar's parties and therefore looks forward to completing its meetings with all four local political parties.
